Southbeach Houston Review

I promise you guys reviews, so here we go. One of my best friends called me and said "I want to go to Southbeach this weekend", "we haven't been in a while". So, I said "cool, lets go HOWEVER let me get a couple drinks first". I tell you why, I love Southbeach hands down one of my favorite clubs here in Houston. The place to dance into the wee hours in this large dance club. Pump and grind to the DJ music and laser light show with shirtless boys and men everywhere! When you first walk in you notice how nice and clean the place is! lol I really enjoy the sophisticated California theme they try to portray, with the beach naked guys on the television screens, shirtless sexy bartenders, and the beachy type feel with the laser colors and banners. Also you see a huge bar, and this really nice sitting area where the music is not blasting and you can socialize get your flirt on baby. Going in you'll be in Heaven, immediately to your right theres usually some sexy stripper guys MY FAVES! There are 3 bars circling This huge cool dance floor. On the dance floor, they have the coolest laser show, one of the best I've seen that kinda moves and dances with you according to the song that is playing.

The music: They play prodominitley Techno music, now if you are a robust techno fan, your in the right place. :) I like techno yes, however being more of a R&b, Hiphop, Pop diva it can get annoying to me AFTER a while. That's where my drink come in play, I mentioned earlier. I sware when I have those couple a drinks, that beat just seeps in your soul, you get to dance and move however you want. *MAJORITY OF THEM CANNOT DANCE ANYWAY* You can just do whatever you want, wear whatever you want, be who you are. Which is why I LOVE THIS CLUB. People are sooo friendly, hands down the friendliest club in Houston. As you know, club crowd is a very important to me. I can't stand a boosie, folk stand around do nothing, looking mean ass club. I enjoy an interactive, friendly, just have a good time club. The liquid ice is sooo cool, literally. When folks are being wild, sweating hot, there is this cold fog that comes from the roof!! Sooo cool, like I said. The drinks to me are good, and descent prices. They put them in regular bar classes, and are real potent {don't lag on the alcohol}. I've read other reviews on thier drinks they say they are pretty standard. But you know I'm a "Hurricane", "Long Island" bitch, so how can you fuck that up. Outdoor area is ok, nice lounge area, however if you are a none-smoker you won't be there very long. Them folk smoke more than a Freight train! damn.

Overall, if you wanna get away from the stresses of life this is the place to be. The people are friendly, the music will make you move, and I you will have a great experience. I rate this club an 4 out 5, I hope to see you there! :)

The Queen is back!!!!

           Everyone knows I am an livid beyonce fan!  Have all her cds, posters, know every song, dance, and everything to know about Beyonce! I love her and I have to be like her top fan, I'd prolly literally die if I'd seen her. As you know, she is well respected and loved in our gay community. Cause the bitch is BAD, and her music is blown off the roof in our clubs. "Single ladies" come on in the gay club, you better move and know the moves "Get me bodied" wait for a show  lol. Hit after hit after hit, Beyonce has never dissappointed in all of the endeavors she have made.
           For about a year now, I've been waiting on a new Beyonce Cd. Looking forward to it actually, the excitement has been building. Now I am a Rihanna fan as well, I like her. But I don't "Love" her. She cool, hits and misses to me. It's just to me personally, HER CD GET BORING AFTER WHILE, usually an driving cd . However, "Good girl gone bad was off the chain". I really like how she was able to recover so quickly and come back so strong, Get it Rihanna. Ciara cd I heard was good, however NO one bought it apparently lol ..Her label dropped her, so I'm guessing it was a flop. I am loving lady Gaga, with her weird ass lol but I'm feeling her. She is making me dance, go wild and crazy, and you should see our Gay community in Houston absolutely adoring Lady Gaga.
             Now finally my Beyonce is back and I'm just livid!! I got my pit and my tent, cause I'm bout to camp in front of Walmart to pick up my cd!! I don't care if I look like a fool, yall gone see me on the news. Hell to be honest, I said I'm gonna get the cd, and I didn't even hear the single or seen the video! You know when you love a artist so much, for instance Michael Jackson and they made that many hits you know the cd will be good. You just have to have the collection duh! I see yall don't peep the game. Just look at the Brittney Spears fans, Brittney was a hot mess came back and that album was one of her best selling albums......however, uhm yeah it was good tho lol, "gimme gimme more, gimme more!".
             Oh sorry I'm back, now the first single "who run the world". To be honest I liked it when I first heard it. You know what I loved about it, it's a club song with a club beat that I can shake my ass. If you know me I didn't always have this juicy ass, and I do wanna shake my new found ass when my song come on! The second time, then third I'm just loving it more and more when I hear it.  Yes, it makes me wanna move and loving the beat. But let me keep it real, I just hope she bring it more on her voice. Her voice on the song to me PERSONALLY was disappointing. I want some beyonce runs, screams, hitting a note, just something that was beyonce, you see what I'm saying. It's been about a year and I really wanted to hear some growth. Hmm maybe, in that type of song you can't do that iono. But in the next songs off the album, I'm expecting great vocals.

The Video!!!

I'm loving the video!! Alot of hits and some misses. Hits: Beyonce looks so DAMN GOOD! Get it GUUUL. I'm loving the blonder hair, and she was workin that hair BITCH! lol The cinematography was great, It kinda look like a futuristic Egypt type of thing going on. Kudos to the director, that was hot. The fashion was on point, I am about to go get my credit and purchase some of those dresses! I was loving that bling bling dress with the sparkletts, the heels were high as hell and did yall see her walk in them too! Omy gosh. 4get the dancing that was a treck in itself.  She looked fierce right there, one of my favorite moments of the video.  The dancing, was sick especially at the beginning. I really want to see gay bitches tryna learn that routine in that beginning!! I see I'm gonna have to go to the club and see this shit lol.  Towards the end it kinda told the story and was the best part for me. SHE STILL GOT IT, she working those dance moves hunny! Who say she getting older, she said "fuck them"! Now at that end routine, I can do those and I'm bout to learn this routine and work this ass! You know how i do.....

                    Misses: Not many..That yellow dress was a hot mess.  In the beginning it did start a lil slow for me, tryna figure out what was the point of the africans. Hell they just overshadowed Beyonce, and I'll tell you why cause folks were sitting trying to determine if they were male or female? Don't believe me look at the youtube comments, half of them were talking bout just that. lol it was funny reading it. And thats it!

 Didnt get the beginning tho.. ?? Iono why everyone is trying to do this technology bit, this is not the Superbowl. No, Forreal I really thought they just recorded that shit on the screen!! "People didn't come to see Beyonce on no damn screen!!" I thought. Then, she walked out of the damn screen I felt sooooo stupid, or was that was just stupid... Iono, after that she killed it shut it down!! They dancing was fire, and she did all that LIVE..For a singer, make it or break it is singing "LIVE" and beyonce hands down is one of the greatest LIVE performer. unlike, I'm not gonna say any names *cough* KERI HILSON *cough* excuse me. Uhm yeah, Congratulations B for the award. Yeah, your mom so mean tho..I seen her yes, in Chuckie Cheeses. Didn't wave, say hi, smile or gave not a 1 autograph..mean mean mean SMH.

Who is this Bitch!?!

              First let me say when I go out to the boosie clubs here in Houston like 2020 or even Bayou City. I see dudes cut eyes at me, giving me the "mean look", just reading the hell outta me. Don't even dare try to say hi or even socialize to the bitches cause they gonna try to just Upstage you in front of thier concieted and boosie ass friends. All in all, if they don't know you, THEY DON'T LIKE YOU. When I have a drink in me, I tend to go out be crazy and socialize make people laugh and show a bit more of my allusive personality. Then, the wall begins to come down with these type of guys. WHY I HAVE TO DO ALL THAT, who are you. Gay scene aside this is how many people operate.
             I don't know why but they do, and I wanted to shed a spotlight on this issue. Gay folks look at other gay people and say "who is this bitch"! Like as if your in high school, they add contatives like "who is this bitch, wearing those shoes", "who is that bitch over there, talking to his sexy ass". Think when someone is just complimenting them on something "who is this bitch"! I don't know this bitch. True, but how sad are you, if someone is complimenting you your acting like that.
             Who am I, I'm the bitch who could hire you in a future position. I could very well be a relative, would you treat a close relative that way? I'm the bitch, who can be your very best friend. I'm the bitch who would make a great lover for you, your husband. That bitch that could be you wife. A stranger could be your gaurdian angel to transport you out of a very serious issue your having. A person that will be with you in your time of need. Perhaps even that bitch may need your help and you may be the gift that person needs in in thier life. What if hypethecally, that person is about to commit suicide and approaches you and instead of you lifting them up you tear them down "Who the fuck are you". The next day, the person dead. lol that is a bit much but WHAT IF, you never know nowadays!
              I really hope that touched someone, and encourage people to be friendly and kind to people you don't know. Even if they don't fit your mold or standards. Big, to fem, to tall, to gay, white, hispanic and etc. This person who thinks this way is missing out on alot of great people. Often times I meet dudes who say "I don't have any real friends", "Everyone just tries to use me" I'll tell you why, look at who you hang around, do you hang around this popular boosie people I've been talking about or are you "open" to different types of people. If I'm speaking to someone who reads this, or know someone who is this. My advice is to please be kinder, be more approachable with people and be open. And I promise you, you will attract good people who will just be a blessing to you. ;-)
